Established in 1913, the Hsinchu Credit Union was the first credit union in Taiwan. In 1934, a new two-story building featuring horizontal lines and R.C. architecture was constructed, characterized by elegance and refinement. After the war, it was renamed "Hsinchu First Credit Cooperative," becoming one of the important financial institutions in Hsinchu City.
