The Hsinchu Credit Cooperative, established in 1913, can be considered the earliest credit cooperative in Taiwan. In 1934, a new two-story structure with horizontal lines was built, showcasing elegance and refinement. After the war, it was renamed "Hsinchu First Credit Cooperative" and became one of the important financial institutions in Hsinchu City.
