Phoenix Bridge Introduction

The Phoenix Bridge, originally named the Hu Lake Bridge, is a bridge located on the dam of Qingshui Lake, built in July 1953. Due to a lack of maintenance and repair, it gradually fell into decline. In 1963, the Taiwanese film "Unforgettable Phoenix Bridge" was shot at this location, and after its release, it was screened over a hundred times, showcasing its popularity. With the advocacy of the film's screenwriter Wu Ying and Wu Nanjie, the director of New Voice Radio, it was decided to preserve the Phoenix Bridge as a public asset for the citizens.
