Guqi Mountain Introduction
Guqi Mountain, located on Gaofeng Road in Hsinchu City, was formerly known as Pingpu Peak and is listed as one of the Eight Scenic Views of Hsinchu for its scenic overlook of "Guqi Vista." The Guqi Mountain Scenic Area is named after the temple and deity statues, with the Pu Tian Temple being the most prominent, housing a famous statue of Guanyu that stands 120 feet tall. The once-famous Guqi Mountain Glass Street is now faintly visible, and in addition, the Guqi Mountain Recreation Park located in front of Pu Tian Temple allows visitors to climb up for beautiful views. The indoor exhibition features precious artifacts and antiques for visitors to explore, and a barbecue area is available for tourists, making it an ideal spot for outdoor activities on weekends.
