Guqi Mountain Introduction
Located on Gaofeng Road in Hsinchu City, Guqifeng, formerly known as Pingpu Top, is one of the Eight New Scenic Spots of Hsinchu, recognized for its view "Guqi Looks Far." The Guqifeng Scenic Area is named after its temples and deities, with Putiangong being the largest, housing a notable Guandi Temple and a famous 120-foot tall statue of Guandi. The once-popular Guqifeng Glass Street is now barely visible, and the Guqifeng Recreational Area located in front of Putiangong allows visitors to climb and enjoy beautiful views. The indoor exhibition features valuable artifacts and antiques for public viewing, and there is a barbecue area offered for tourists, making it a great spot for outdoor activities on weekends.
