Li Hsi-Chin Filial Piety Park Introduction
Li Xijin was born in 1786 and was enthusiastic about public welfare, demonstrating great filial piety. He worked with the first degree holder Zheng Yongsu to resolve local armed conflicts. The local gentry, moved by his filial piety and righteous deeds, recommended him for recognition, leading to the establishment of a Hall of Filial Sons. This archway is made of Quanzhou white stone, with a plaque made of green stone, and the base features a gourd-shaped drum stone. It is currently the only remaining Hall of Filial Sons in Taiwan.
