Li Xi Jin Filial Piety Pavilion Introduction
Li Hsih-chin was born in 1786, known for his dedication to public welfare and filial piety. He worked alongside the top scholar Cheng Yung-hsi to resolve local conflicts across various regions. The local gentry recognized his acts of filial piety and righteousness, leading to his recommendation for a commendation and the establishment of a Filial Piety Archway. This archway is made of Quanzhou white stone, featuring a plaque of green stone, and its base is composed of gourd-shaped supporting stones. It is the only surviving Filial Piety Archway in Taiwan.
