Banciao Houshan Shopping District (Fuzhong Shopping District) Introduction
The Fuchung Shopping District, developed around the old Banqiao Station, covers areas including Section 1 of Zhongshan Road, Sichuan Road, Guanqian East Road, and Chongqing Road. It was once the busiest place in Banqiao. After the Banqiao Station moved to the Xinban Special District in 1999, the old station was transformed into Fuchung MRT Station. In recent years, through the optimization of pedestrian walkways, the installation of public art, and improvements to the streetscape, the Fuchung Shopping District has successfully evolved into a metropolitan complex that integrates the cultural and tourism appeal of the new Banqiao Special District.
