Nanzo Creek Bicycle Path Introduction
The 3.5-kilometer Nanzi Stream Bicycle Path starts at Huadong Park near Far Eastern Memorial Hospital and ends at the confluence of Nanzi Stream and Dahan River. Originally, it was located along the right bank of Dahan River and included the Nanzi Stream Pump Station. To provide a resting area for cyclists, a portion of the space has been transformed into a bicycle station. Cyclists can follow the signs and enter the station via the Xiangshan Flood Control Bridge. The station offers services such as restrooms, air pumps, and water refills, and the indoor resting area allows visitors to relax while learning about the local history of Banqiao Nanzi Stream. The entire route runs along the green belt on the right bank of the river, shaded by towering old trees, making for a pleasant and easy ride. Near the Xinyue Bridge, a cultural bicycle station has been established within the Nanzi Stream Pump Station, improving the environment and facilities, adding surrounding directional signs, and creating resting platforms and washrooms, giving visitors a home-like feeling.
