Nan'zigou Bicycle Path Introduction
The Nanzi River Cycling Path, with a total length of 3.5 kilometers, starts near Huadong Park by Yadong Hospital and ends at the confluence of the Nanzi River and the Dahan River. Originally the site of the Nanzi River Pumping Station located on the right bank of the Dahan River along the cycling path, part of the space has been transformed into a rest station for cyclists, providing services such as restrooms, air pumping, and water refills. Cyclists can enter the station via the flood prevention overpass at Shuangxi Mouth, guided by signs. Inside the rest area, visitors can relax while learning about the local stories of the past in Banciao's Nanzi River. The entire path runs along the right bank greenbelt of the river, shaded by towering old trees, making for an easy and pleasant ride. A cultural cycling rest station has been established within the Nanzi River Pumping Station near the nearby Xinyue Bridge, improving the environment and facilities of the station, increasing surrounding directional signage, and adding rest platforms and washrooms to create a home-like atmosphere for the public.
