The New Taipei City Library Main Branch is the main library of New Taipei City. The architectural design resembles a large bookshelf stacked with books, integrating traditional reading services with digital information facilities. It is not only a green energy library that breathes but also breaks traditional thinking, constructing a new cultural landmark for New Taipei City and injecting greater innovation and vitality into reading services. With a new design concept of "making all users feel cared for," it has created the country's first public library that adheres to universal design principles. It plans a variety of reading spaces based on the reading habits of different age groups, providing diverse reading facilities and services tailored for various age segments and cultural groups, ensuring that all reading enthusiasts can enjoy a safe and friendly environment with the most comfortable reading experience, making the library a home for citizens’ reading.
