Lujiao Creek Park Introduction
The Dujiao Creek Park is the third all-ages park in New Taipei City, covering an area of 7,022 square meters. To implement the goals of an all-ages park, the park has been developed in four phases, completing the first phase of the neighborhood leisure area, the second phase of the children's playground, and the third phase of the senior fitness area since 2012, providing a variety of facilities to meet the leisure needs of local residents. Currently, it is positioned as a dynamic themed park with the slogan "Boundless Youth of Passion," offering a well-equipped basketball court for basketball enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy. Dujiao Creek Park is only a 5-minute walk from the Shanjia Train Station and was once surrounded by iron factories; now, after the park's completion, it beautifully complements the nearby Shan Zhai Jiao Park along the Dujiao Creek, creating a more comfortable and pleasant environment that fulfills the leisure needs of people of all ages. The park spans nearly one thousand ping, following the Dujiao Creek where willow trees flourish, with wooden walkways connecting to the Shanjia Train Station and the Hakka Cultural Center. The district office will further purify the Dujiao Creek, ensuring clearer waters alongside the park, where fish and shrimp can inhabit.
