Deer Horn Creek Park Introduction
Lujiao Stream Park is the third age-friendly park in New Taipei City, covering an area of 7,022 square meters. To achieve the goal of an age-friendly park, the park has been developed in four phases, with the first phase of the neighborhood leisure area, the second phase of the children's playground, and the third phase of the senior fitness area completed since 2012, providing diversified facilities to meet the leisure needs of local residents. Currently characterized as a dynamic theme park with the motto "Passionate Belief, Unlimited Youth," it features a well-equipped basketball court, making it an excellent place for basketball enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy sports. Just a 5-minute walk from Shanjia Railway Station, Lujiao Stream Park was once filled with metal factories, but after its completion, visitors can stroll along the Lujiao Stream and enjoy the scenery alongside Shanzijiao Park, creating a more pleasant environment that fully caters to the recreational needs of people of all ages. This nearly 1,000-ping linear park is lined with lush willows along Lujiao Stream, and a wooden plank road connects Shanjia Railway Station and the Hakka Cultural Center. The district office plans to further purify Lujiao Stream, ensuring that the water next to the park is clearer and provides a habitat for fish and shrimp.
