Deer Horn Creek Park Introduction
Lujiao River Park is the third age-friendly park in New Taipei City, covering an area of 7,022 square meters. To achieve the goal of an age-friendly park, it has been built in four phases. Since 2012, it has successively completed Phase 1, the neighborhood leisure area; Phase 2, the children's playground; and Phase 3, the senior fitness area, offering a variety of facilities to meet the daily leisure needs of local residents. Currently designated as a dynamic themed park with the motto "Passionate Belief, Unlimited Youth," it provides a complete basketball court, making it a great place for basketball enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy sports. Lujiao River Park is just a 5-minute walk from Shanjia Station. Previously, the area was filled with metal factories, but after the completion of the park, visitors can stroll along the Lujiao River and enjoy the picturesque surroundings with Shanzijiao Park, creating a more comfortable and pleasant environment that fully satisfies the leisure needs of people of all ages. This linear park spans nearly one thousand pings, with lush willows lining the banks of the Lujiao River. A wooden boardwalk connects Shanjia Station and the Hakka Cultural Center. The district office will further purify the Lujiao River, ensuring that the waters beside the park are clearer and conducive to the habitation of fish and shrimp.
