Dahan River Cycling Path Introduction
The Dahan River Bicycle Path spans various districts of New Taipei City, featuring several riverside parks and bike lanes on both the left and right banks. The left bank bike path connects to Xinzhuang, Shulin, and Yingge. Along the way from Houjiang Weir via the Ganyuan Overpass to the Sanying Tao Flower Garden, cyclists are greeted by Taiwan's flamboyant tree, also known as the "four colors flower," lining both sides of the bicycle path. Continuing forward leads to the Sanying rental station in the Sanying Tao Flower Garden, where you can return your bike and follow the wide wooden staircase to the next attraction, the "East Ying Story Trail." On the right bank, starting from the Huajiang Bridge in Banqiao, you can ride all the way to Tucheng, making it a charming 12-kilometer ride along the riverside. For those in good shape, the Dahan River left bank bike path can also connect to the Erchong Circular Bicycle Path, Bali Left Bank Bicycle Path, or Golden Coast Bicycle Path; meanwhile, the right bank bike path connects to the Xindian River Bicycle Path.
