Dahan River Bicycle Path Introduction
The Dahan River Bicycle Path spans across various districts of New Taipei City, with several riverside parks and bicycle paths established along both the left and right banks of the Dahan River. The left bank bicycle path connects to Xinzhuang, Shulin, and Yingge. Travelers will be greeted by the beautifully named Taiwan lacquer trees, known for their four colors, planted along the path when traveling from the Houjiang Weir through the Ganyuan Overpass toward the San-Ying Clay Flower Source. Continuing forward will take you to the San-Ying rental station in the Clay Flower Source, where you can return your bicycle and head down the spacious wooden staircase to the next attraction, the "Dong-Ying Story Trail." On the right bank, starting from the Banqiao Huajiang Bridge, cyclists can ride all the way to Tucheng. Although the distance is 12 kilometers, the riverside scenery is truly enchanting. For those in good physical condition, the left bank bicycle path can also connect to the Erchong Circular Bicycle Path, the Bali Left Bank Bicycle Path, or the Golden Coast Bicycle Path; meanwhile, the right bank bicycle path connects to the Xindian River Bicycle Path.
