In 2019, SUNMERRY established a unique Danish pastry tourist factory in New Taipei City, providing interactive DIY activities for families, cultural exhibitions, and engaging animations to help visitors easily understand the origins and production of Danish pastries. Five features of SUNMERRY Danish Bakery: 1. Family-friendly Hands-on Courses: SUNMERRY Danish Bakery offers a baking classroom where children can dress up in special mini-baker outfits and participate in hands-on courses. Skilled baking teachers guide children in making delicious treats like pink pigs, love lollipops, and animal party snacks. The courses are updated monthly, allowing visitors to enjoy quality family time. 2. The only Danish Bakery in Taiwan designed in Nordic style: The entire venue is themed in Nordic design, including a bread landscape wall and interactive rolling pin photo areas for visitors to take fun pictures. The fourth-floor interactive exhibition hall showcases SUNMERRY's first mixer and oven, allowing visitors to learn about the brand's history and culture. Additionally, a zodiac-themed bread wall based on consumption statistics allows visitors to find their own unique pastries. 3. VR Process Area for an immersive experience: The VR process area on the second and third floors provides 360-degree virtual reality videos with headsets, allowing visitors to feel as if they are in the production line, experiencing the presence of cakes and pastries up close. Various interactive spaces and a production line viewing corridor combine with fun facts about bread to provide an entertaining and educational experience for children. 4. The only tourist experience center accessible by MRT: From Taipei Main Station, taking the MRT Bannan Line to Dingpu Station takes only 25 minutes, followed by a short walk. The facility is designed with a "family-friendly" focus, including handwashing stations and nursing rooms for easy access for children, making it a perfect place for a light family trip on holidays! 5. Self-made meals at SUNMERRY Danish Bakery: The dining area on the first floor offers freshly baked, artisan-made pastries and desserts. The menu is diverse, including brunch, light meals, simple dishes, afternoon tea, and coffee–all made on-site without using pre-packaged ingredients.
