Located in Sanxia District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, it was established in April 1995 as a memorial hall dedicated to the Taiwanese painter Li Meishu and his works. The museum houses many of Li Meishu's masterpieces and various cultural artifacts. Professor Li's creations primarily focus on showcasing the beauty of Taiwanese countryside, adopting a realistic style in his paintings. His most beloved works depict the landscapes of Sanxia, embodying his artistic philosophy of "wind, earth, people, and sentiment." However, some of his pieces have a unique style, such as "The Boy Teasing the Turkey," which employs 3D techniques, akin to the world-famous painting "Mona Lisa." Master Li Meishu had a deep love for his hometown, Sanxia, and devoted half of his life to the construction of the Zushi Temple, making it one of the oldest and most meticulously crafted temples in Taiwan. One of the guides in the museum is Li Meishu's son, who himself often appears in his father's paintings, adding an extra layer of interest and imagination when he explains the artworks.
