Located in Sanxia District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, it was established in April 1995 as a memorial hall dedicated to Taiwanese painter Li Meishu and the exhibition of his works. The memorial hall houses Mr. Li Meishu's masterpieces and various cultural artifacts from his life. Professor Li's creations primarily aim to showcase the beauty of Taiwan's local landscape, following a realistic artistic style. His most beloved works feature the scenery of Sanxia, infused with his artistic philosophy of "wind, soil, people, and emotion." However, some of his works have a particularly unique style, such as "The Boy Teasing the Turkey," which employs 3D techniques and resembles the world-renowned painting "Mona Lisa." Master Li Meishu cherished his hometown of Sanxia and devoted half his life to building the Zu Shi Temple, making it the longest-repaired and most meticulously constructed temple in Taiwan. One of the guides in the memorial hall is the son of Master Li Meishu, who often appears as a figure in his father's paintings, adding to the interest and imagination as visitors listen to the stories behind the artworks.
