Located in the Sanxia District of New Taipei City, established in April 1995, this memorial hall is dedicated to commemorating Taiwanese painter Li Meishu and showcasing his works. The hall houses the masterpieces and various relics of Mr. Li's life. Professor Li's creations primarily aim to present the beauty of Taiwan's countryside, adopting a realistic painting style, with his most beloved Sanxia landscapes filled with his emphasized artistic philosophy of "wind, earth, people, and emotion." However, some of his works have a remarkably unique style, such as "The Boy Teasing the Turkey," which employs 3D techniques and shares similarities with the world-renowned painting "Mona Lisa." Master Li Meishu cherished his hometown of Sanxia so much that he devoted half of his life to building the Zushi Temple, making it one of the longest-lasting and meticulously crafted temples in Taiwan. One of the tour guides in the memorial hall is none other than Master Li's son, who himself occasionally appears in the paintings, adding an extra layer of interest and imagination to the experience as he narrates the stories behind the artworks.
