The suspension bridge is 128 meters long and serves as a connecting bridge between Shifen and Nanshan. It was built in 1947 (the 36th year of the Republic of China) for the transportation of coal. After coal mining ceased, the bridge was renovated and converted for pedestrian use. It is located near Shifen Railway Station and the Old Street, with the Keelung River flowing beneath it. The blue and white suspension bridge has also become a popular photo spot for tourists.

Jing'an Suspension Bridge, located in the Shifen District of New Taipei City, is colorful and eye-catching, situated between Shifen Village and Nanshan Village, near Shifen Station and Shifen Old Street. It serves as an important connecting bridge and is the most prominent landmark in the Shifenliao area. With a long history, the bridge was initially constructed for transporting coal. After coal mining ceased, it was converted into a pedestrian-only thoroughfare, and Jing'an Suspension Bridge has faithfully upheld its role ever since. The bridge spans 128 meters and connects Shifen Village and Nanshan Village. It was built in the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947) for the purpose of transporting coal.
