Shimen Kite Park Introduction

Shimen Kite Park, located near Shimen Laomei, covers an area of approximately 6 hectares and is the most suitable venue for kite flying and international competitions in Southeast Asia. It originated from the annual festival held in Shimen District - the Shimen Kite Festival. Since its inception, it has attracted numerous kite enthusiasts from both domestic and international locations, bringing considerable tourism benefits to the area. With the establishment of the Kite Park, kite flyers from around the world, as well as families and couples, can enjoy a suitable place to fly kites and experience the joy of harnessing the wind at any time. Shimen District is known as the "Hometown of Kites" due to its ideal topography for kite flying.
