Shimen Kite Park Introduction
Shimen Kite Park, located near Shimen Old Plum, covers an area of approximately 6 hectares and is recognized as the most suitable venue for kite flying and international competitions in Southeast Asia. It originated from the annual grand celebration held in the Shimen District – the Shimen Kite Festival. Since its inception, it has attracted many kite enthusiasts from both domestic and abroad every year, bringing considerable tourism benefits to the local area.
