Shimen Kite Park Introduction

Shimen Kite Park, located near the Shimen Old Plum area, covers approximately 6 hectares and is the most suitable site for kite flying and international competitions in Southeast Asia. It originated from the annual festival held in Shimen District – the Shimen Kite Festival. Since its inception, the festival has attracted many kite enthusiasts from both domestic and abroad, bringing significant tourism benefits to the local area. With the establishment of the kite park, kite flyers, families, and couples can enjoy suitable kite flying venues anytime, experiencing the joy of flying kites. Shimen District is known as the "Hometown of Kites," as the terrain is conducive to kite flying, and the promoted kite festival has become a characteristic of the Shimen District, attracting many kite flyers from home and abroad every year to showcase their skills, with a variety of kites soaring in the sky, creating a captivating spectacle.
