Shimen Kite Park Introduction

Shimen Kite Park, located near Shimen Old Plum, covers an area of approximately 6 hectares and is recognized as the most suitable venue for kite flying and international competitions in Southeast Asia. It originated from the annual grand celebration held in the Shimen District – the Shimen Kite Festival. Since its inception, it has attracted many kite enthusiasts from both domestic and abroad every year, bringing considerable tourism benefits to the local area. With the establishment of the kite park, kite enthusiasts, families, and couples can enjoy kite flying in a suitable atmosphere at any time. The Shimen District is known as the "Hometown of Kites," and its geography is ideal for kite flying.
