Caoli Fishing Port Introduction
Originally named Ali Ao, it is located on the Danjin Highway, about a ten-minute walk from the Shibawanggong Temple. The harbor was originally a docking area for small fishing boats and canoes, but now has a 0.39-hectare dock area available for use. However, due to the shallow harbor, the dock is currently only for regular operations of vessels. When encountering larger waves, fishing boats will head to the nearby Fuchi Fishing Port for refuge. Related land facilities include mooring facilities and marking light poles. The Caoli Fishing Port in Shimen District has been renovated to optimize the fishing environment and installed life rings. Because of calm waves and diverse fish species, including stink fish, bamboo fish, blue-scaled fish, and pufferfish, it has been selected as the first fishing port to undergo transformation, and a Caoli Coffee Station has been added to allow fishing tourists to relax.
