Caoli Fishing Port Introduction
Originally named Aliou, it is located on the Danjin Highway, about ten minutes from the Shibawangong Temple. The harbor was originally a mooring place for small fishing boats and paddle boats. Today, it has an area of 0.39 hectares and a pier available for vessels, but due to the shallow waters in the harbor, the pier is currently only used for normal operations of boats. In case of larger winds and waves, fishing boats would go to the nearby Fuzhi Fishing Port for shelter. Relevant land facilities include mooring facilities and signal light poles. After renovation, Caoli Fishing Port in Shimen District has optimized the fishing environment and added lifebuoys. This location is chosen as the first fishing port to promote transformation, with stable waves and diverse fish species such as smelly fish, bamboo fish, blue scad, and pufferfish. A Caoli Coffee Station has also been added to allow fishing visitors to relax and unwind.
