Cimu Peak Trail Introduction
The Pingxi area of New Taipei City is surrounded by peaks, with around 20 mountains in total, earning it the nickname "Mountains of the Twenty-Four Filial Exemplars." Among these, there are three famous peaks: Mount Hsiào Tzu, Mount Cí Mǔ, and Mount Pǔ Tuó. Although they appear difficult to climb, artificial stone steps have been carved into the steep and hard ridges, and there are ropes or railings to assist climbers, making it a popular destination for many hikers.
