The outdoor reading area offers beautiful scenery and has become a well-known attraction in Shigang District. Aiming to promote a culture of leisure, the library places equal emphasis on reading and entertainment, and has now evolved into a local cultural center that features social education, arts, folklore, and recreation. The library's management philosophy prioritizes public needs, constantly seeking innovation and change to gain public participation and local recognition, and aims for sustainable development through community building. Currently, there are a total of 232 reading seats available both indoors and in the surrounding outdoor spaces. In addition, the library houses a Hakka Museum and specialty collections, preserving valuable local historical materials and Hakka literature.
