The Taichung City Changong Pavilion is a two-story Baroque-style building that blends both Japanese and Western architectural styles, incorporating elements of both classical and modernist architecture. The structure features an elegant and symmetrical layout influenced by the Art Deco styles popular at the time, showcasing a strong modernist architectural style that emphasizes simple geometric decorations and horizontal and vertical shapes. It highlights the importance of natural light indoors and offers a comfortable residence with clear functionality. The second-floor balcony features classical columns, decorative railings, and an ornamental exterior wall, along with Japanese-style window sills at the back, resulting in an overall eclectic architectural style.
