Shoes Museum Factory Introduction
Once, Taiwan had thousands of shoe factories and tens of thousands of shoe industry workers. The techniques mastered by shoemakers wove the most splendid glory of Taiwan's shoe kingdom. In response to rising labor costs and the trend of globalization, Taiwan's shoe industry has shifted towards global development. The initial mission of the Shoe Technology Center was to assist in the transformation and upgrading of the Taiwanese shoe industry, focusing on technological research and development and creative value-added approaches to enhance Taiwan's competitive strength on the world stage. Over the years, the Shoe Technology Center has focused on the shoe industry, transitioning from technical shoe development to incorporating "human-centered" care and thinking. By applying aesthetic design, shoes have taken on more fashionable forms, integrating foot health and technology to help more people find comfortable footwear that suits them. Our goal is to inspire people to move, move well, and move faster. Today, we uphold a passionate, diligent, and sincere attitude, dedicated to the cultural transmission and talent cultivation of Taiwan's shoe industry and promoting its services, hoping to enable more people to understand Taiwan's shoe industry and inject the energy of tourist factories into the industry. We have established the "Shoe Treasure Tourist Factory," the only one in the country centered on traditional Taiwanese shoemaking, blending modern high-tech innovative design and research and development techniques, creating a joyful space that combines education, tourism, and recreational creativity.
