Once, Taiwan had thousands of shoe factories and tens of thousands of workers in the shoe industry. The craft of shoemakers wove the most brilliant glory of Taiwan's shoe kingdom. In response to labor costs and the trend of internationalization, Taiwan's shoe industry has shifted towards global development. The mission of the Shoe Technology Center at its inception was to assist the Taiwanese shoe industry in transforming and upgrading towards technological research and development and creative value addition, enhancing Taiwan's competitive strength on the world stage. Over the years, the Shoe Technology Center has focused on the shoe industry, starting from shoe technology and moving towards a "human-centered" approach. It integrates aesthetic design, allowing shoes to have more fashionable poses while incorporating podiatric medicine and technology, helping more people find their own comfortable footwear. Our goal is to inspire people to move, move well, and move faster. Now, with a passionate, diligent, and sincere attitude, we are committed to the cultural inheritance of Taiwan's shoe industry and promoting talent development and services, hoping to help more people understand Taiwan's shoe industry and inject energy into the industry through tourism factories. We have established the "Shoe Treasure Tourism Factory," which is the only one in the country focused on traditional Taiwanese shoemaking, combining modern high-tech innovative design and research with educational, touristic, and recreational creativity.
