Dongshi Forest District Introduction
Dongshi Forestry Recreation Area is located by the Daan River in the Dongshi District of Taichung City, at an elevation of 500 to 700 meters. With an average temperature between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius, it offers a pleasant climate—making it a great destination for vacationing and cooling off. The recreation area is just eight kilometers from the Dongshi District, accessible via Shilin Street. It's conveniently reachable in 30 minutes by car from National Highway 4, with bus services provided by Fengyuan Bus.
