Dongshi Forest Garden Introduction
Dongshi Forest Recreation Area is located by the Dajia River in the Dongshi District of Taichung City, at an elevation of 500 to 700 meters. With an average temperature ranging between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, it is an ideal place for vacation and relaxation. The forest area is just eight kilometers away from the Dongshi District, connected by Shilin Street. It is only a 30-minute drive from National Highway 4, and there are convenient bus services provided by Fengyuan Transportation. Throughout the year, Dongshi Forest Recreation Area boasts an abundance of flowers: cherry blossoms in spring, tung flowers in summer, maple leaves in autumn, and plum blossoms in winter, along with various flowers such as plum flowers, cherry blossoms, azaleas, tung flowers, crape myrtle, poinsettias, and maple leaves.
