Dongshi Forest Recreation Area Introduction
Dongshi Forest Farm is located by the Daan River in the Dongshi District of Taichung City, at an altitude of 500-700 meters, with an average temperature between 20-25 degrees Celsius, making it a pleasant place for vacation and relaxation. The farm is only eight kilometers from downtown Dongshi, connected by Shilin Street, and it takes about 30 minutes by car from National Freeway 4 as you travel north and south along the highway. There are also convenient bus services from Fengyuan. Throughout the year, Dongshi Forest Farm offers a diverse array of flowers to admire, including cherry blossoms in spring, tung flowers in summer, maple leaves in autumn, and plum blossoms in winter, along with a variety of other flowers such as plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, azaleas, tung flowers, crape myrtles, poinsettias, and maple leaves, creating a colorful floral world worth visiting. The farm offers guided explanation services and accepts reservations for group tours. There are also quaint wooden cabins where you can escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.
