Songyuan Farm Introduction
The Zhuolan Fruit Kingdom is renowned throughout Taiwan. "Songyuan Farm" is located in Neiwa Village, southeast of Zhuolan Township. The farm mainly produces grapes and starfruits and offers processed products related to these fruits for sale. The key to growing fruit lies in the climate and soil. The area around Songyuan Farm, Dongsheng, experiences a significant temperature difference between day and night, which naturally increases the sweetness of the fruit. Furthermore, with years of natural cultivation and a step-by-step growing process, combined with the clear water quality of the Daan River, the grapes and starfruits produced here have stable quality, are plump, sweet, and juicy, with a beautiful appearance. Songyuan Farm uses natural farming methods to grow crops. Although the technology and costs have a higher threshold, such efforts are absolutely worthwhile for the health of consumers and the ecological balance of the land. To implement organic cultivation, all fruits are bagged during the early fruit stage, and no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used during the growing period. Instead, natural organic fertilizers are applied, allowing the grapes and starfruits from Songyuan to be picked and eaten on the spot without worrying about pesticide residues or pollution. The starfruit season is from October to New Year’s Day of the following year or from January to March, while the grape season is from January to March and July to September.
