Songyuan Farm Introduction
Zhuolan is renowned throughout Taiwan as the Fruit Kingdom, and 'Songyuan Farm' is located in the southeastern area of Neiwān Village, Zhuolan Township. The farm primarily produces grapes and star fruits, and offers various processed products related to these fruits for sale. The key to growing fruit is the climate and soil, and the area where Songyuan Farm is located, Dongsheng, experiences a significant difference in temperature between day and night, naturally increasing the sweetness of the fruits. Furthermore, with years of natural cultivation and step-by-step cultivation procedures, combined with the clear waters of the Daan River, the grapes and star fruits produced here are of stable quality, yielding plump, sweet, and juicy fruits with beautiful shapes. Songyuan cultivates crops using natural farming methods, which have higher technical and cost thresholds, but these efforts are absolutely worthwhile for the health of consumers and the ecological balance of the land. To implement organic cultivation, all fruits are bagged during their juvenile stage, and no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used during the growth period; instead, natural organic fertilizers are applied. Therefore, Songyuan's grapes and star fruits can be picked fresh and eaten immediately without concerns about chemical harm or contamination. The star fruit season is from October to New Year’s Day of the following year or from January to March, while the grape season is from January to March and from July to September.
