Gonglaoping Introduction
Gonglaoping, which boasts a vast scenic view, is a source of pride for the people of Fengyuan and is an excellent dating spot for young couples to hike and enjoy the scenery. Scenic restaurants and cafes built along the mountainside, as well as Chiu Fung Chia Memorial Park, provide stunning views of Taichung's beautiful nightscape. Located at an elevation of less than 500 meters, Gonglaoping is named after a sage named Xu Gonglao who led the locals in development. Hiking in the evening allows you to witness the sky gradually transition from blue to a shade known as fish belly white, with the sunset reflecting layers of orange, yellow, and green, ultimately turning into a deep blue, as countless lights begin to twinkle in the night sky.
