Taichung Central Park Introduction

Central Park covers approximately 67.34 hectares and is renowned as the "Lung of Taichung," in response to its integration with the Shuinan Economic and Trade Park. It is an expansive activity park, combining three main principles: "intelligence," "low carbon," and "innovation." Unique twelve-sensory interactive facilities are incorporated within the park, setting it apart significantly from typical parks. The vast area showcases a variety of landscapes through numerous green plantings, featuring over 10,000 trees of 106 species, among which 83% are native species, creating a diverse urban oasis suitable for wildlife habitats. Visitors can jog between the undulating terrains in the morning, stroll under the dappled sunlight in the afternoon, enjoy the sunset from the park’s high points in the evening, and explore the enchanting forest ecology illuminated by lights at night.
