Baoan Station Introduction
The Bao'an Station, built in 1899, was originally named Cheluqian Station and was located approximately 1.5 kilometers to the south of its current site. It was relocated to its present location for the convenience of transporting goods from the Cheluqian Sugar Factory. It is currently the best-preserved wooden station from the Japanese rule in Taiwan. The station structure is constructed from Alishan cypress, and it maintains its original appearance to this day, serving as an important shared memory and transportation hub for local residents and students of Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science.
