Chimei Museum Introduction
When you see this scene, you might think it's the scenery of a palace in Europe. Walking past the Apollo Fountain, which casts a rainbow in the sunlight, you cross the bridge over the moat, with the majestic white lion heads lined up in a row. On the bridge, the solemn Olympian gods are displayed in an orderly manner. As you proceed across the bridge, the main entrance of the museum features a towering dome and various Greek column designs. This grandeur accentuates the splendor of the palace that houses its treasures. At the highest point of the museum building is the sculpture of the "Angel of Glory," a replica of the work by French sculptor Louis-Ernest Barrias. This angel, holding a laurel crown and a horn, will forever stand at the top of the Chimei Museum building, symbolizing the protection of this land and the celebration of beautiful people and things in the world.
