Former Tainan Court of Appeals (Firefighting History Museum) Introduction
Passing through the roundabout of the Tang Dezhang Memorial Park, one will surely be attracted by this special white building, which is the Joint Office Building built during the Japanese colonial period. The building's tall tower, completed in 1930, was known as the "Hokim Tower" and was the tallest building in Tainan at that time, standing out significantly in an urban area that was mostly composed of wooden houses, allowing for constant monitoring of fires within the city.
