Tainanchiao Liukong Management Station (including Visitor Center) Introduction
The elegant white arch-shaped structure stretches gracefully along the blue coastline, creating the first impression for many visitors to the Liouguei Pier. During dusk, the pier becomes even more dazzling with the colors of the sunset. Besides being a hub for taking bamboo rafts in the lagoon, Liouguei Pier also houses a visitor center. Most importantly, it is the venue for the annual Jiukou Seafood Festival. The most popular activity, the "Red Mullet Fishing Experience," always attracts many families from across Taiwan to try their hand at catching clams. Everyone gathers on the shore, eager to showcase their skills, and as soon as the organizer gives the signal, everyone eagerly steps barefoot into the shallow water, feeling for clams beneath the muddy bottom, hoping to fill their buckets. This unique and fun experience always leaves children reluctant to leave.
