Sinjhuang Community Hall Youth Library (formerly Sinjhuang County Hall) Introduction
The original Xinhua County Public Hall was built in 1937 and served as a public gathering place for residents during the Japanese colonial period. It was registered as a historic building in 2008, and in 2018, the Tainan City Government renovated it into a youth library, making it the first library in Tainan City located within a historic building. The original wooden structure has been preserved, focusing on a reading space for youths that collects books suitable for teenage readers, including titles in science, literature, art, and inspirational living.
