Tianliao Cold Spring Area (Tianliao Flower Season Resort Hotel) Introduction
The history of Tianliao Cold Springs is quite long. In the early days, the soil in Tianliao District was poor, and there was a lack of water sources. Local residents discovered cold springs emerging from rock crevices, so they settled near the water, using the cold springs for living and irrigation, making this precious carbonated cold spring the source of life for Tianliao District. When the Japanese military stationed in Taiwan discovered this rare carbonated cold spring, they even established a police sanatorium in the cold spring area, thus forming the hot spring culture of the region. Tianliao Cold Spring is a naturally occurring bicarbonate spring with a pH value of 7 and an average water temperature of 22 degrees Celsius. It is a clear, colorless low-temperature spring with a slight sulfur smell. During the Japanese colonial period, people began to bathe in the hot spring after heating the water. Due to its pure and gentle qualities, it has been known as the "Beauty Skin Bath" and is the only area in southern Taiwan with cold springs.
