Star of Qianzhen Introduction
The Qianzheng Star, located at the intersection of Zhongshan Fourth Road and Kaixuan Fourth Road, is a multi-functional bicycle bridge. Due to the complexity of traffic flow at this intersection and the large volume of vehicles, pedestrians face great dangers when crossing the road. The establishment of the bicycle lane not only improves the safety of pedestrians and vehicles but also connects the Lingo Line Bicycle Path, Qianzheng River Bicycle Path, and Fengshan River Bicycle Path systems, forming a complete bicycle network that promotes energy conservation and carbon reduction. The bridge has a width of 5 meters and separates pedestrians from bicycles. Structurally, it features arched steel beams extending in all directions, paired with a curved canopy that creates a multi-layered aesthetic and softens the rigid urban landscape. The intersection of the vehicular lanes is designed in the shape of a tree trunk and includes an aerial garden. This not only establishes a landmark focal point for the city but also creates a center for pedestrians and cyclists to rest, filled with natural ambiance, allowing for enjoying the street view from above. At night, different colors and layers of lighting illuminate the bridge approach and the bridge itself, enhancing safety for its users and creating a vibrant new landmark for Qianzheng.
