Qianzhen Star Introduction
The Qianzhen Star, located at the intersection of Zhongshan Fourth Road and Kaixuan Fourth Road, is a multifunctional bicycle bridge. Due to the complex traffic flow and heavy vehicle volume at this intersection, crossing the road can be perilous for pedestrians. The establishment of bike lanes not only enhances safety for both pedestrians and cyclists but also connects to the Linyuan Line bicycle path, Qianzhen River bicycle path, and Fengshan Creek bicycle path system, forming a comprehensive bicycle network that promotes energy conservation and carbon reduction. The Qianzhen Star bridge has a width of 5 meters and features separate pathways for pedestrians and cyclists. Structurally, it is constructed with arch-shaped steel beams extending in all directions, paired with a curved sunshade roof that creates a multi-layered aesthetic, softening the harsh urban landscape. The intersections of the roadways are designed to resemble tree trunks and include an aerial garden, which not only establishes a landmark focal point for the city but also creates a central area filled with natural ambience, where users can stop and rest while enjoying the view of the street below. At night, the access roads and the bridge structure are illuminated with various colors and layers of lighting, ensuring increased safety for pedestrians and cyclists while creating a vibrant new landmark for Qianzhen.
