Star of Qianzhen Introduction
The Qianzhen Star, located at the intersection of Zhongshan Fourth Road and Kaixuan Fourth Road, is a multifunctional bicycle bridge. Due to the complex traffic flow and heavy vehicle volume at this intersection, crossing the road can be perilous for pedestrians. The establishment of the bicycle lane not only improves the safety of pedestrians and vehicles but also connects the Lingang Line bicycle path, Qianzhen River bicycle path, and Fengshan River bicycle path systems, forming a complete bicycle network that promotes energy conservation and carbon reduction. The Qianzhen Star Bridge has a width of 5 meters, allowing for the separation of pedestrians and bicycles. Structurally, it features arched steel beams extending in all directions, accompanied by a curvilinear awning that creates a multi-layered aesthetic and softens the rigidity of the urban landscape. The intersection design of the roadway resembles the trunk of a tree, complemented by an aerial garden. This not only establishes a landmark in the city but also creates a resting area filled with natural ambiance for users walking or cycling on the bridge, offering a pleasant view of the street below. At night, the ramp leading to the bridge and the bridge structure are illuminated with different colors and layers of lighting, enhancing safety for users and creating a vibrant new landmark for Qianzhen.
