Star of Qianzhen Introduction
The Qianzhen Star, located at the intersection of Zhongshan Fourth Road and Kaixuan Fourth Road, is a multifunctional bicycle bridge. Due to the complex traffic flow and heavy vehicle volume at this intersection, crossing the road can be perilous for pedestrians. The establishment of bike lanes not only improves safety for both pedestrians and cyclists but also connects the Linggang Line bicycle path, Qianzhen River bicycle path, and Fengshan Creek bicycle path system, creating a comprehensive cycling network that promotes energy conservation and carbon reduction. The Qianzhen Star Bridge has a width of 5 meters and separates pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Its structure extends outward with arched steel beams and is accompanied by a curved, foldable canopy, creating a multi-layered aesthetic that softens the rigidity of the urban landscape. The intersecting points of the lanes are designed to resemble tree trunks, featuring an aerial garden that serves as a landmark and provides a resting area filled with natural scenery for users walking or cycling on the bridge, allowing them to enjoy the street view to their heart's content. At night, various colors and levels of illumination are projected onto the approach and body of the bridge, enhancing safety for both pedestrians and cyclists and establishing a vibrant new landmark for Qianzhen.
