Daliao Bagu Gong Temple Introduction

Founded in 1969, it is currently the largest temple in Taiwan dedicated to the worship of Bao Gong as the main deity. The Kaifeng Palace, constructed with three halls, houses the black-faced Bao Gong, as well as the so-called "tattooed Bao Gong," which represents Bao Zheng himself. The architecture is impressive, with the front hall as the main hall of Bao Gong, the middle hall as the Hall of Five Buddhas, and the third hall as the Jade Emperor Hall. In front of the temple stands a pair of giant golden lions, exuding a magnificent aura. This temple also serves as a faith center for the local people in Daliao. For tourists, the Bao Gong Temple is quite rare, so it is recommended to schedule some time to visit this temple while exploring the Daliao District.
