Daliao Pao Kung Temple Introduction
Founded in 1969, it is currently the largest temple in Taiwan dedicated to the worship of Judge Bao as the main deity. The three-hall structure of Kaifeng Palace enshrines the black-faced Judge Bao, as well as the so-called "tattooed Judge Bao," who is Bao Zheng himself. The architecture is grand in scale, with the front hall being the main hall for Judge Bao, the middle hall being the Hall of the Five Buddhas, and the third hall the Jade Emperor Hall. In front of the temple stands a pair of gigantic golden lions, exuding a magnificent presence. This temple also serves as a center of faith for the local people in Daliao. For tourists, the Bao Gong Temple is quite rare, and it is recommended to set aside time to visit this temple while exploring the Daliao District.
