Daliao Pao Gong Temple Introduction

Established in 1969, this is currently the largest temple in Taiwan that worships Bao Gong as the main deity. The temple, named Kaifeng Palace, houses the worship of the black-faced Bao Gong and the so-called "tattooed Bao Gong," which refers to Bao Zheng himself. The architecture is grand in scale, with the front hall serving as the main hall for Bao Gong, the middle hall as the Five Buddhas Hall, and the third hall as the Jade Emperor Hall. In front of the temple, there are two giant golden lions, exuding an impressive atmosphere. This temple also serves as a center of faith for the local residents of Daliao, and for tourists, the Bao Gong Temple is extremely rare. It is recommended to schedule a visit to this temple when exploring the Daliao District.
