Huangpu New Village Introduction
Huangpu New Village is located directly opposite the Army Officer School, commonly known as the Huangpu Military Academy. The entire construction was completed around 1943. In 1947, the Army Training Command was established in Taiwan, with General Sun Li-jen serving as the instructor. The families of military personnel who came to Taiwan resided in Chengzheng New Village and Chengzheng Second Village (now Huangpu New Village and Huangpu Second Village), making it one of the first military dependents' villages established by the government after relocating to Taiwan.
