Dadong Arts and Cultural Center Introduction

The Dadong Arts Center, inaugurated in 2012, is located at the intersection of Guangyuan Road and Dadong Road. It is a multifunctional art space established to cater to the future refined cultural development of Kaohsiung City. The architecture of the art center showcases the minimalist aesthetics of clear water construction, with a film-type semi-transparent roof floating like a hot air balloon above a semi-open square, bringing beauty in terms of natural lighting, airflow, and visual curves. At night, it is adorned with a light fountain, dazzling with vibrant colors, making it the most beautiful focal point of the Dadong Arts Center. The art center features a multifunctional performance hall, a visual exhibition hall planned for cultural and creative commercial spaces, and a multimedia library dedicated to collecting audiovisual materials and books related to the arts. Its diverse and exquisite exhibitions and performances serve as a treasure trove for the public to nourish their artistic souls. The outdoor plaza, integrated with nature, often hosts melodious music and dance performances, complemented by lush green hills and beautiful installation art, making it a favored leisure spot for the public. With connections provided by the Kaohsiung MRT, the Dadong Arts Center, Weiwuying Center for the Arts, and the Kaohsiung Cultural Center will together form a complete urban art strip, creating a shining stage for cultural and artistic endeavors in southern Taiwan.

Parking Information：The parking lot can accommodate 251 cars and 171 motorcycles. We welcome the public to make full use of it. Operating hours: 06:00–00:00. Rate: Cars: NT$30 per hour on weekdays and weekends (non-business hours are charged according to the business hour rate), with a daily maximum charge of NT$240.
