觀音里酒枯井

The "Jiugujing" located on Lane 17, Zhonghua Road, has been around for over a century. According to Zhang Cuo's elder Zhang Jianxiao, who is over ninety years old, this well existed before her birth. She recalls seeing her elders use this well to produce liquor when she was a child, and at that time, the surrounding area belonged to Zhang Cuo, which was surrounded by traditional houses. The well is located in the yard where everyone gathered to collect water and make liquor, which is what the locals referred to as "Jiugu Zhang." The well water has a slightly salty quality. Another elder, Li Teng, who married into Li Cuo and is also over ninety years old, confirmed that the Jiugujing existed before her birth and was dug by the ancestors of the Zhang family. Her great-grandmother (Zha Mozu) originally made liquor there. Both elders stated that the liquor production was done by their great-grandfathers, and since they became aware, their families have stopped making liquor and have turned to farming.

Guanyinli Jiu Gu Jing Introduction

The "Jiu Gu Jing" located on Lane 17, Zhonghua Road, has been around for over a hundred years. According to Zhang Cuzhou, an elderly resident in her nineties, who was born in the Year of the Rabbit, this well existed before she was born. She recalls seeing her elders using this well for making wine when she was young, as the surrounding area was once entirely owned by the Zhang family, with traditional bungalows all around. The well is situated in the yard, where everyone would gather to collect water and produce wine, which is what the locals refer to as "Jiu Gu Zhang." The well water has a slightly salty quality. Another elderly woman, Li Teng, who married into the Li family from Zhang Cuzhou and is also in her nineties, similarly stated that the Jiu Gu Jing was already in existence before she was born and was dug by the Zhang family's ancestors. Her great-grandmother was involved in winemaking. Both elders noted that winemaking practices were a matter for their great-grandfather's generation, and since they became aware, their families have ceased making wine and instead turned to farming.
