觀音里酒枯井

The "Jiu Gu Jing" located in Lane 17, Zhonghua Road, has been around for over a hundred years. According to Zhang Cuo's elder, Zhang Jianxiao, who is over ninety years old (born in the Year of the Rabbit), this well existed before she was born. She recalls watching her elders use this well to make wine in her childhood, and at that time, the surrounding area belonged to Zhang Cuo, surrounded by traditional single-story houses. The well is situated in the courtyard where people would gather to fetch water and make wine, which is referred to as "Jiu Gu Zhang" in the local dialect. The water from the well has a slightly salty quality. Another elderly woman, Mrs. Li Teng, who is also over ninety years old and married into Li Cuo from Zhang Cuo, similarly stated that the Jiu Gu Jing existed before her birth and was dug by Zhang family's ancestors. Her great-grandmother, Cha Ma Zu, was involved in winemaking. Both elders mentioned that winemaking was something their great-grandfather's generation did, and since they became aware, their family has stopped making wine and turned to farming instead.

The "Jiu Gu Jing" (Wine Well), located on Alley 17 of Zhonghua Road, has been around for over a hundred years. According to Zhang, an elder from Zhang Cuo who is over ninety years old, the well existed even before she was born. She recalls seeing her elders use this well for making wine when she was a child; at that time, the surrounding area belonged entirely to Zhang Cuo, with ancient-style houses all around. The well is located in a courtyard where everyone would gather to fetch water and make wine, which is referred to as "Jiu Gu Zhang" (Wine Well Zhang) in the local indigenous dialect. The quality of the well water is slightly salty. Another elder, Mrs. Li, who is also over ninety years old and married into Li Cuo, similarly stated that the Jiu Gu Jing existed before her birth and was dug by the ancestors of the Zhang family. Her great-grandmother (known as Cha) was involved in the winemaking process. Both elders agreed that winemaking was something done by their great-grandfathers' generation, and since they became aware, their families have not produced wine and have instead engaged in farming.
