觀音里酒枯井

The "Jiugujing" located at Lane 17, Zhonghua Road, has been around for over a century. According to Zhang, a 90-year-old elder (born in the Year of the Rabbit), this well existed before she was born. She recalls seeing her elders use this well to make wine when she was young. At that time, the area was entirely owned by Zhang's family, surrounded by traditional one-story houses, with the well located in the courtyard where everyone would gather to collect water and make wine, which is referred to as "Jiugu Zhang" by the locals. The water quality of the well is slightly salty. Another elder, Ms. Li, who is also over 90 years old and married into the Li family from Zhang's family, similarly stated that the Jiugujing existed before she was born and was excavated by Zhang's ancestors. Her great-grandmother (referred to as Cha) was involved in winemaking back then. Both elders mentioned that winemaking was a tradition from the generation of their great-grandfathers, and since they became aware of their surroundings, their families stopped making wine and turned to farming.
