Shanlin Bridge Introduction
Shanlin Bridge is located in the Nanzyun River section of County Road 129, serving as a major thoroughfare between Shanlin and Jiasian alongside Provincial Highway 29. The Shanlin Bridge was opened at the end of 2013, replacing the old bridge damaged by Typhoon Morakot, significantly reducing travel time between the two banks of the Nanzyun River. With a span of 370 meters and a width of 9 meters, the total length including the approach is 1,180 meters. It is a two-arch steel arch bridge without intermediate piers, featuring a white steel arch that spans the Nanzyun River. Its gentle curves complement the river valley, distant mountains, and the rural streets of Shanlin, making it the most beautiful scenic bridge in the Shanlin District.
