Nanhua Wushan Ecological Area Introduction
The Taiwan Macaque Area is a must-visit spot when enjoying coffee and taking a walk in Nanhua Wushan. The area is home to hundreds of Taiwan macaques living happily in this designated sanctuary. This safe haven for them is mainly due to the efforts of "Grandpa Macaque," Mr. Lin Bingxiu, who is often seen carrying buckets of fruits and food to feed the monkeys in the mountains. He always watches over this group of treasures from the Taiwanese mountains with loving eyes. Because of this protective effort, not only have the macaques thrived here, but the populations of other animals such as the Formosan Rock Macaque, squirrels, and wild rabbits have also increased.
