Emei Township is known as one of the hometowns of the Ponkan tangerine, accounting for one-tenth of the country's annual production. The moderate rainfall and cool temperatures create ideal conditions for growing Ponkan. The Beiying Orange Orchard is one of the production sites, primarily producing Ponkan and Mōgu tangerines. The harvest season runs from December to March of the following year, and families are welcome to visit.
