Xie Xin Tea House Introduction
Hakka Tea House Old Stories is a restaurant operated by outsourcing, originally the dormitory for teachers of Shishan Elementary School. Later, based on the concept of “resting the heart leads to enlightenment,” it was transformed into a Hakka-style tea house with the traditional sloped roof design, presenting a brand new appearance to visitors. The elegant tea house architecture blends harmoniously with the surrounding scenery, providing a place to rest both body and mind. Upon entering the tea house, visitors can see lanterns and umbrellas made of Hakka fabric around the counter, along with a wide array of tea sets; interesting Hakka proverbs are inscribed in the stairwell. Through the展示 of Hakka artifacts and a variety of dishes, the local stories are told. Taste the local flavors of Hakka cuisine: in addition to the antique Hakka decor, the tea house also offers personal set meals, Hakka vegetarian dishes, and various shared dishes. The white rice is topped with mountain vegetables, Hakka stir-fry, braised pork, and other rich dishes that look so appetizing; visitors who have tasted them rave about the experience. On a tranquil afternoon, one might take a walk on the nearby Liuliaogong Trail or Tengping Trail; after a tiring hike, guests can sit in the outdoor dining area, brew a cup of cold brew Oriental Beauty tea paired with handmade Hakka mochi, and occasionally gaze at the distant mountain ridges, adding a unique flavor to the experience.
