Pitang Wo Natural Farm Introduction
On the way to Jioucyung Lake, just before reaching the Jingu Farm, there is a small right turn leading to the Pitangwo Aquatic Plant Education Park. Originally a rice paddy, Pitangwo is focused on reservation-based visitors and has transitioned to growing fruit trees. However, due to the old age of owner Huang Liu-jin-kui and the outflow of population, the irrigation ditches and ponds gradually lost their functionality. Not wanting to see the beloved land fall into neglect, he collaborated with the community to carry out renovations. Utilizing the one hectare area, they cultivated aquatic plants within the pond environment, and also planted nectar plants that attract insects, such as the foxtail chess flower and Aristolochia, allowing butterflies to forage easily. Additionally, the silky-leaved tree provides a suitable habitat for unicorn beetles. The entire park is beautiful and clean, with opportunities to interact with insects everywhere, creating a space full of surprises that has become a treasure-hunting secret spot beloved by children.
