Pitang Wo Ecological Park Introduction
On the way to Jiuqiuh Lake, before reaching Jingu Farm, there is a right-turning small road leading to the Pitangwo Aquatic Plant Education Park. Originally a rice paddy, this area was transformed into a fruit orchard but, due to the aging owner Huang Liu-jin-kui and population outflow, the irrigation channels and ponds gradually lost their function. Not wanting to let the land fall into neglect, a renovation was carried out in collaboration with the community. Utilizing the pond environment, aquatic plants were cultivated in an area of one hectare. The park also plants nectar plants favored by insects, such as Cyperus difformis and Aristolochia, allowing butterflies to easily forage here; there are also light wax trees to provide a suitable habitat for unicorn beetles. The entire park is beautiful and clean, with opportunities to get close to insects everywhere, making it a treasure-hunting secret spot beloved by children.
