Mount 85 Lao Liu Orchard Introduction
The name "85 Mountain" comes from the peak at an altitude of 850 meters. The owner of this peak is Liu Qingyuan, an Atayal tribesman, who has 15 hectares of land on the mountain. He spent over a decade cultivating sweet persimmons, more than one hectare of peaches, and citrus fruits in the mountainous area. His sweet persimmons are particularly renowned for being fresh, sweet, and crispy, with some weighing over a kilogram and having a sweetness level exceeding 20 degrees. Cyclists wishing to visit must go through some challenges; the entrance is located at kilometer 41.1 on Highway 120, and although it is only 700 meters away, the elevation increases by 200 meters, highlighting the challenging road conditions.
