Bawu Mountain Old Liu Fruit Orchard Introduction
Bawu Mountain Old Liu Fruit Orchard is located at Bawu Mountain, which gets its name from its elevation of 850 meters. The owner of this mountain is Liu Qingyuan, an Atayal tribal member, who has 15 hectares of land where he has spent over a decade planting sweet persimmons, peaches, and citrus fruits. Among these, his sweet persimmons are especially renowned for their fresh, sweet, and crispy texture, with the largest ones weighing over a kilogram and a sweetness level exceeding 20 degrees. Cyclists looking to visit face a challenging journey; the entrance is located at kilometer 41.1 on Route 120, and although it is only 700 meters away, the altitude increases by 200 meters, highlighting the difficulty of the road conditions.
