Bashu Mountain Old Liu Fruit Orchard Introduction
The name "Bagushan" comes from the mountain peak at an altitude of 850 meters. The owner of this peak is Liu Qingyuan, a member of the Atayal tribe, who has 15 hectares of land on the mountain. He spent over a decade cultivating sweet persimmons, over one hectare of peaches, and citrus fruits. His sweet persimmons are particularly renowned for their freshness, sweetness, and crispness, with the largest ones weighing over a kilogram and sugar content exceeding 20 degrees. Cyclists who want to visit must endure a challenging journey; the entrance is located at kilometer 41.1 on County Route 120, and despite being only 700 meters away, the elevation gain is 200 meters, highlighting the difficulty of the road conditions.
