Eagle Watching Trail (Luo Shan Keng Trail) Introduction
The Eagle Watching Trail is the best eagle watching spot in Bagua Mountain, accessible via the entrance sign next to Hugang Road (County Road 139), with a total length of 1.05 kilometers. Every year from March to April, the Gray-faced Buzzard migrates back to its breeding grounds, passing through Bagua Mountain. Visitors can observe the eagles taking off and landing at the eagle watching platform, making it the best season for eagle watching in Bagua Mountain. In addition to watching the Gray-faced Buzzard in spring, local birds can be seen year-round, such as the Crested Goshawk, Great Egret, Formosan Whistling Thrush, White-headed Bulbul, and Taiwan Bush Warbler. Various explanatory signs are set up along the trail to introduce the bird resources of Bagua Mountain.
