Eagle Watching Trail (Luo Shan Keng Trail) Introduction
The Eagle Watching Trail is the best eagle watching spot in Bagua Mountain, accessible from the entrance sign next to County Road 139. The trail is 1.05 kilometers long. Every year from March to April, Grey-faced Buzzards migrate north for the spring, passing through Bagua Mountain, providing a great opportunity to observe eagles taking off and landing at the eagle watching platform. This is the best season for eagle watching in Bagua Mountain. In addition to observing Grey-faced Buzzards in spring, visitors can also see local bird species throughout the year, including Crested Goshawks, Great Egrets, Black-crowned Night Herons, White-browed Coucals, and Zosterops. Along the trail, various informational signs introduce the bird resources of Bagua Mountain. Outside of the eagle watching season, the platform offers a distant view, and during sunset, visitors can enjoy the stunning sight of the sunset glow. Trail length: 1.05 kilometers.
