Taoyuanli Forest Trail Introduction
The Sanqing Temple Forest Trail is a regional-level trail managed by the Forestry Bureau, part of the Bagua Mountainzi area trail system within the Zhongzhang Mountain area trail system. It comprises two major loops, connecting Sanqing Temple to the Huanxi Ecological Park and the Longfeng Valley Forest Trail. The total length of the trail is 2.1 kilometers, primarily consisting of boardwalks and dirt-stone paths, with many steps along the segment leading to Hugang Road. A notable feature of this route is the suspension bridge on the branch trail, which is narrow enough for only one person to cross, creating a deep atmosphere of forest exploration. Additionally, the segment leading to Baoshan Road has been reported with surface damage, and part of the slope at Shelong Dam is also damaged. The area is currently marked as prohibited for entry and will be reopened after repairs. Trail length: 1.93 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities include: parking lots (for motorcycles, cars, and buses), signposts, information boards, a suspension bridge, and tension ropes.
