Wolongpo Trail Introduction
The Wulong Slope is situated along the mountain ridge and is named for its resemblance to a reclining dragon. It was a past ancient trail that connected Yuanlin in Changhua to Liufenliao in Nantou, and it has been renovated into a walkway approximately 0.8 kilometers long. The entire path is a gentle sloping tree-lined trail, with the only steep section being the steps at the trailhead. Midway along the trail, there is a pavilion where visitors can enjoy the mountain and forest scenery, and a visit to the Feng Tian Temple is recommended (providing drinking water and public restrooms, which may vary due to pandemic conditions). Along the way, there are oil tea trees and acacia trees, and during the spring and summer, visitors can see blossoms in full bloom. There are also nectar plants that attract butterflies, insects, and wild birds. Additionally, it is adjacent to Yuanlin Sports Park, Tengshan Trail, and Wulong Slope, making it a great spot for the public to engage in leisure activities and fitness exercises. Trail length: 0.76 kilometers. Walking time: 0.3 hours. Facilities: parking lot (motorcycles, cars), entrance features, pavilion.
