Wolongpo Trail Introduction
The Wulong Slope is situated along the mountain ridge, named for its resemblance to a sleeping dragon. It was a historic trail that connected Changhua Yuanlin to Nantou Liugufan, and has been renovated into a walking path approximately 0.8 kilometers long. The entire trail features a gently sloping shaded pathway, with only the starting point having a set of ascending stairs. About halfway along the trail, there is a pavilion that offers scenic views of the mountains and forests, and visitors can conveniently visit the Feng Tian Temple, which provides drinking water and public restrooms (please note that availability may change due to the pandemic). The path is lined with Tung trees and Acacia trees, and during spring and summer, vibrant flowers can be seen blooming. The area also has nectar-rich plants that attract butterflies, insects, and wild birds. Additionally, it is adjacent to the Yuanlin Sports Park, Tengshan Trail, and Wulong Slope, making it an ideal spot for the public to engage in leisure activities and fitness exercises. Trail length: 0.76 kilometers. Walking time: 0.3 hours. Facilities: parking lot (motorcycles and passenger cars), entrance signage, pavilion.
