Bagua Mountain Xiangshan Trail Introduction
Located next to Taiwan National Highway 74 (Zhongzhang Expressway), this small trail is developed along a winding hillside path, measuring only 822 meters as part of the first phase of construction. Further trail planning and development within the park are ongoing. Currently, there are facilities such as parking lots (for scooters, cars, and buses) and restrooms available for public use. A wooden platform has been set up at a height to overlook the Changhua Plain, Taichung metropolitan area, and the western coastal area. The trail is primarily designed as a recreational park; thus, it mainly features a sleeper trail, with various plants such as Vaccinium, Ficus macrophylla, Hoya (Wishing Vine), bald cypress, and Cinnamomum cassia planted in different sections, creating diverse scenic views suitable for the general public to relax on weekdays. Trail length: 0.79 kilometers. Walking time: 0.4 hours. Facilities include: seating, plaza, observation platform, restroom, parking lot (for scooters, cars, and buses), and signposts.
A wooden platform is set up at the vantage point, offering a panoramic view of the Changhua Plain, Taichung Metropolitan Area, and the western coastline.
