Bagua Mountain Xiangshan Trail Introduction
Located next to Taiwan National Highway 74 (Zhongzhang Expressway), this small trail is developed along a winding hillside path, measuring only 822 meters as part of the first phase of the project. Further park trail development is ongoing. Currently, there are facilities such as a parking lot (for motorcycles, passenger cars, and buses) and restrooms available for public use. At the highest point, a wooden platform allows for distant views of the Changhua Plain, Taichung metropolitan area, and the western coastline. This trail is primarily designed as a leisure park concept, featuring a wooden plank walkway. Various areas are planted with different species such as Vaccinium, Ficus, Guangxi green vine (wish vine), Bald cypress, and Cinnamomum kanehirae to create diverse landscapes, making it suitable for the general public to visit for relaxation on weekdays. Trail length: 0.79 kilometers. Walking time: 0.4 hours. Facilities include seating, a plaza, a viewing platform, restrooms, a parking lot (motorcycles, passenger cars, buses), and signboards.
