Bagua Mountain Xiangshan Trail Introduction
Located beside Taiwan Highway 74 (Zhongzhang Expressway), the trail is developed along a winding mountain road, featuring a small hiking path of only 822 meters as part of the first phase of construction, with plans for further park trails underway. Currently, there are facilities available for public use, including parking lots (for motorcycles, cars, and buses) and restrooms. At the elevated point, a wooden platform allows visitors to overlook the Changhua Plain, Taichung metropolitan area, and the western coastline. This trail is designed with a leisure park concept, primarily featuring sleeper paths, and various areas are planted with diverse plants such as blueberries, Ficus pumila (wish vine), Taxodium distichum (bald cypress), and Cinnamomum verum (true cinnamon), creating different landscape styles suitable for the general public to relax on weekdays. Trail length: 0.79 kilometers. Walking time: 0.4 hours. Facilities include: seating, square, observation platform, restrooms, parking lot (motorcycles, cars, buses), and signboards.
