Sun Moon Lake - Yutaka Bike Path Introduction
Starting from Hsuan Guang Temple, the bicycle path that stretches approximately 4 kilometers through the Huan Tan No. 1 Tunnel to the Ming Tan water outlet is specifically designed for cyclists. This winding trail along the southern bank of Moon Lake features rich and varied ecosystems and forest scenery. Along the way, one can gaze southward at the Toushe Basin and northward towards the Qinglong Mountain Range, making it an excellent choice for cyclists seeking freedom and leisure. Particularly, the view of the Toushe Basin from this vantage point offers a bird's-eye perspective, with fields and houses arranged like a chessboard, reminiscent of the idyllic scenes described by Tao Yuanming in his works.
