Sun Moon Lake - Yutun Bicycle Path Introduction
Starting from Xuanguang Temple, the bike lane that runs about 4 kilometers through the Huan Tan No. 1 Tunnel to the Ming Tan water outlet is specially designed for cyclists. This winding path along the southern shore of Sun Moon Lake features rich and diverse ecology and forest scenery. Along the way, you can gaze southward at the Toushe Basin and northward at the Qingshui Mountain range, making it an excellent choice for cyclists seeking freedom and leisure. Particularly from this vantage point overlooking the Toushe Basin, the view from above reveals farmlands and houses arranged like a chessboard, reminiscent of the idyllic scenes described by Tao Yuanming in his works.
