Sun Moon Lake - Yue Tan Bicycle Trail Introduction
Starting from Xuanguang Temple, the approximately 4-kilometer bicycle path runs through the Huan Tan No. 1 Tunnel to the Ming Tan Water Outlet, specially designed for cyclists. This winding trail along the southern bank of Moon Lake features rich and varied ecology and forest scenery. Along the way, cyclists can enjoy views of the Toh She Basin to the south and the Qingshan Mountain Range to the north, making it an excellent choice for leisurely cycling. Especially from this vantage point overlooking the Toh She Basin, one can view the farmlands and houses arranged like a chessboard, reminiscent of the idyllic paradise described by Tao Yuanming.
