Grandma's Laundry Place Introduction
Located in the southeastern part of Toushe Village, the Mianziyuan Settlement gets its name from the cotton that was once cultivated here. The Toushe Basin is an upstream catchment area of the Shuili Creek, resulting in abundant water sources and numerous mountain springs. In the past, lacking running water facilities, residents used this water not only for drinking but also for washing clothes. A stone strip was laid in the creek as a washing board, where community members gathered to wash their clothes while chatting, creating a unique form of social interaction. Today, a roofed washing area and pavilions have been constructed to provide rest for visitors. When you come here and ride along the Toushe Bicycle Path, take a moment to pause and rest.
