Grandma's Laundry Place Introduction
Located in the southeastern part of Toushe Village, the Mianziyuan settlement derives its name from the cotton that was once cultivated here. The Toushe Basin is the upstream catchment area of the Shuili River, resulting in abundant water sources and numerous mountain streams. In the past, without running water facilities, residents used the water not only for drinking but also for washing clothes. A long stone slab was laid in the stream as a washing board, where community members would gather to wash clothes and chat, forming an alternative social interaction. Today, the laundry area is equipped with a roof and pavilions, providing a place for tourists to rest. When visiting this area and riding along the Toushe Bicycle Path, it's a good idea to stop and take a break here.
