The "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" in Yunlin serves as the gateway marketing window for tourism into the Yun East area along National Route 3. It is an international tourism and recreation service highlight established under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Tourism Bureau's subsidized cross-regional highlight project "YunTour3Lin - Slow Food, Good Travel, Leisure Stay." The station was commissioned to be operated privately starting July 2017, with the management rights acquired by Nanjin Lake Enterprises. Construction began in October of the same year, and after over a year of integration efforts from the county government team, township offices, and private enterprises under the guidance of the Tourism Bureau, it was officially completed and opened on November 10, 2018. The opening ceremony for the "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" was held in conjunction with the cross-regional highlight project’s Food Art Festival marketing event, aimed at showcasing the beauty of Yunlin on the international stage to domestic and foreign tourists.

Gukeng Green Tunnel Station Introduction

The "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" in Yunlin serves as the entrance marketing showcase for tourism into the Yun Dong area along Taiwan Route 3. It is part of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' subsidized cross-domain highlight plan "Yun You 3 Lin - Slow Food, Good Travel, Leisure Living," which is established as an international tourist recreation service highlight. The station was commissioned for operation through the OT model in July 2017, with Nan Ren Lake Enterprise obtaining the management rights. Construction began in October of the same year and under the guidance of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the county government team, township offices, and private enterprises integrated their efforts over more than a year, officially opening on November 10, 2018. The opening ceremony combined the cross-domain highlight plan and an international marketing event, showcasing Yunlin to the international stage and allowing both domestic and foreign tourists to appreciate the beauty of Yunlin.

Transportation Methods：【By Car】 Heading South: National Highway No. 1 or National Highway No. 3 → connect to the Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 78 (Tai-Xi Gu-Keng Expressway) → exit at 39K Gu-Keng Interchange → head towards Gu-Keng and connect to Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 3 for about 3 to 5 minutes to reach the Green Tunnel. Heading North: 1. National Highway No. 1 → connect to the Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 78 (Tai-Xi Gu-Keng Expressway) → exit at 39K Gu-Keng Interchange → head towards Gu-Keng and connect to Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 3 for about 3 to 5 minutes to reach the Green Tunnel. 2. National Highway No. 3 → exit at 279K Mei-Shan Interchange → connect to Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 3 towards Nan-Tsai → Green Tunnel.
