The "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" in Yunlin serves as the gateway to tourism in Eastern Yunlin along Highway 3. It is established as part of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Tourism Bureau's cross-domain highlight plan "Yun You San Lin - Slow Food, Good Travel, Leisure Living." This international tourism and recreation service hub was commissioned in July 2017 through an OT (Operational Turnkey) model and operated by Nanren Lake Enterprise, with construction starting in October of the same year. Under the guidance of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the county government team, township offices, and private enterprises collaborated for over a year. The station was grandly completed and inaugurated on November 10, 2018, coinciding with the celebratory international marketing event of the cross-domain highlight plan. This initiative aims to elevate Yunlin onto the international stage and showcase its beauty to both domestic and foreign tourists.

Gukeng Green Tunnel Station Introduction

Yunlin's "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" serves as the gateway to tourism in Yun Dong along Provincial Highway 3 and is a marketing showcase funded by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications as part of the cross-regional highlight project "Yun Travel 3 Lin - Slow Food, Good Walk, Leisure Stay." This international tourist recreation service highlight was established with the support of local initiatives. The station was commissioned to a private operator through an OT (operating trust) model in July 2017, awarded to the Nanren Lake Enterprise. Construction began in October of the same year, and with the guidance of the Tourism Bureau, the county government team, township offices, and private enterprises collaborated for over a year. The station was officially completed and opened on November 10, 2018, coinciding with the international marketing event "Culinary Arts Festival" of the cross-regional highlight project, to showcase Yunlin on the international stage and allow domestic and international tourists to experience the beauty of Yunlin.

Transportation Methods：【By Car】 Southbound: National Highway No. 1 or National Highway No. 3 → Take the Taichung 78 East-West Expressway (Taizi-Gukeng Line) → Exit at Gukeng Interchange (39K) → Head towards Gukeng and connect to Provincial Highway No. 3 for about 3 to 5 minutes to reach the Green Tunnel. Northbound: 1. National Highway No. 1 → Take the Taichung 78 East-West Expressway (Taizi-Gukeng Line) → Exit at Gukeng Interchange (39K) → Head towards Gukeng and connect to Provincial Highway No. 3 for about 3 to 5 minutes to reach the Green Tunnel. 2. National Highway No. 3 → Exit at Meishan Interchange (279K) → Connect to Provincial Highway No. 3 towards Nanzi to reach the Green Tunnel.
