Gukeng Green Tunnel Station Introduction
Yunlin "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" serves as the gateway marketing window for entering Yundong tourism along Highway 3. It is part of the cross-domain highlight project "Yun Travel 3 Lin - Slow Food, Good Travel, Leisure Living," subsidized by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. The station was entrusted to private operation in July 2017 under an O.T. (Operation and Transfer) model, awarded to Nanren Lake Enterprises, which began construction in October of the same year. After more than a year of integration efforts by the county government team, township offices, and private enterprises under the guidance of the Tourism Bureau, it was grandly completed and opened on November 10, 2018. The opening of "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" was combined with the cross-domain highlight project's food and arts celebration international marketing activities, aiming to showcase the beauty of Yunlin on the international stage and attract domestic and foreign tourists.
