The "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" in Yunlin serves as the marketing window for entering the Yun Dong tourism area along Taiwan Highway 3. It is an international tourism and recreation service highlight established with the support of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications under the cross-domain highlight project "Traveling in Yunlin - Slow Food, Good Travel, Easy Living." The station was commissioned to be operated by the private sector via an OT bid in July 2017, with Nanren Lake Enterprises acquiring the operational rights. Construction commenced in October of the same year. Under the guidance of the Tourism Bureau, the county government team, township offices, and private enterprises contributed their efforts over more than a year, and the station was officially completed and opened on November 10, 2018. The opening ceremony of the "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" was organized in conjunction with the international marketing event of the cross-domain highlight project, aiming to showcase the beauty of Yunlin to both domestic and international tourists.

Gukeng Green Tunnel Service Station Introduction

The "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" in Yunlin serves as the entrance marketing showcase for tourism in Eastern Yunlin along Taiwan Route 3. It is an international tourist recreational service highlight established under the subsidy program of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Tourism Bureau, titled "Yun You 3 Lin – Slow Food, Good Travel, Leisure Stay," which aims to promote cross-domain attractions in Yunlin County. The station was entrusted to a private operator through an OT (Operational Transfer) model in July 2017, with Nan Ren Lake Enterprises acquiring the management rights. Construction began in October of the same year, and after over a year of integration efforts by the county government team, township offices, and private enterprises, it was officially completed and opened on November 10, 2018. The grand opening of the "Gukeng Green Tunnel Station" was held in conjunction with the cross-domain highlight project’s culinary festival and international marketing activities, showcasing the beauty of Yunlin to domestic and international tourists.

Transportation Methods：【By Car】 Southbound: National Highway No. 1 or No. 3 → connect to Taiwan National Highway 78 (TaiXi GuKeng Expressway) → exit at Gukeng Interchange at 39K → head towards Gukeng and connect to Taiwan Highway No. 3 for about 3-5 minutes to reach the Green Tunnel. Northbound: 1. National Highway No. 1 → connect to Taiwan National Highway 78 (TaiXi GuKeng Expressway) → exit at Gukeng Interchange at 39K → head towards Gukeng and connect to Taiwan Highway No. 3 for about 3-5 minutes to reach the Green Tunnel. 2. National Highway No. 3 → exit at Meishan Interchange at 279K → connect to Taiwan Highway No. 3 towards Nanzi → Green Tunnel.
