It once served as the police duty center in the Taixi area, holding significant historical importance and serving as a shared memory for many people in their sixties and seventies in the region. After advocacy from cultural and historical workers, it was registered as a historic building in Yunlin County in 2006 and underwent renovation in 2018.

Thanks to the efforts of cultural and historical workers, it was designated as a historical building in Yunlin County in 2006 and underwent renovations, which were completed in 2018.
