The historical building, constructed in 1931, features a style of exposed bricks and washed pebbles. It once served as the police precinct for the Taixi area, holding significant historical value and being a shared memory for many individuals in their sixties and seventies from Taixi. After efforts by cultural and historical workers to preserve it, this building was registered as a historical structure in Yunlin County in 2006 and underwent renovations that were completed in 2018.
