The old building that records history was built in 1931, featuring clear water bricks and pebble washing styles. It once served as the police service center in the Taixi area, holding significant historical meaning and representing a shared memory for many individuals in their sixties and seventies in the region. After efforts by cultural and historical workers to preserve it, it was registered as a historical building in Yunlin County in 2006 and underwent renovations in 2018.
