Kuibi Mountain Circumference Trail Introduction
Next to the Kui Bi Mountain Geopark, the Beiliao Kui Bi Mountain Tidal Viewing Area was constructed and organized by the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration. Walk about 100 meters north along the seaside pedestrian path, and you will see the signpost for the "Environmental Mountain Trail." Turn right and follow the muddy grass path into a small forest, where you will find a fork in the path. You can walk left or right, both leading to the beach cliffs under the military radar. At the summit, there are abandoned military facilities, bunkers, and trenches; this area was once a military stronghold before martial law. From the high point of Kui Bi Mountain, you can observe the natural landscape and expansive sea view; on clear days, you can see Jishan Islet and Dinggou Islet to the north. During low tide, to the right, you can see the Chi Yu Fen Sea Trail, and to the left down below, you can see Fan Zai Wei. Between Kui Bi Mountain, Fan Zai Wei, and Chi Yu, large intertidal zones and rock veins are exposed during low tide, making it a popular spot for locals to collect clams and shells. 【Recommended Stay Duration】 2 hours
Step into the lush jungle to reach the platform with a wide view of the ocean.
After the tide recedes, a large area of rocks at Banziwei is exposed.
