Kueibit Mountain Trail Introduction
Next to the Keibi Mountain Geological Park, the Beiliao Keibi Mountain Tide Viewing Area has been established and renovated by the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration. Walking along the seaside pathway for about 100 meters to the north, you will see the sign for the "Huanshan Grass Trail." Turn right onto the muddy path, enter the small woods, and you will find fork signs. You can take either the left or right path to reach the cliffs by the sea under the military radar. At the summit, there are abandoned military facilities, bunkers, and trenches. This area was also a military stronghold before martial law; from the high point of Keibi Mountain, you can observe the natural scenery and vast sea views. On clear days, you can look to the north and spot Jishan Islet and Dinggou Islet. When the tide is out, you can see the Chiyu Slope Sea Path to the right and Fanzitou to the left. Between Keibi Mountain, Fanzitou, and Chiyu, large intertidal zones and rock formations are exposed at low tide, making it a spot for locals to collect shellfish or enjoy the natural environment. 【Recommended visit duration】 2 hours
Walk into the lush forest to reach the platform with a wide view of the ocean.
After the tide recedes, a large area of rocks at Fanjiawei is exposed.
