Kueibit Mountain Eco Trail Introduction
Next to Kuibishan Geological Park, the Beiliao Kuibishan Tide Viewing Area, managed by the Penghu Administration, features a seaside walking path that runs about 100 meters north, where you can find the signpost for the “Mountain Trail.” By turning right and walking up the muddy path into a small forest, you'll encounter a fork in the path. Whether you go left or right, both routes lead to the cliffside under a military radar. At the summit, you will find abandoned military facilities, bunkers, and trenches, which were also a military stronghold before the martial law period. From the high point of Kuibishan, you can take in the natural landscape and wide sea view, and on clear days, you can see Jishan Islet and Dinggou Islet to the north. At low tide, you can see Chiyu Walkway to the right and Fanziwei down to the left. Between Kuibishan, Fanziwei, and Chiyu, large intertidal zones and rock formations are exposed at low tide, serving as a spot for locals to collect shells. 【Suggested length of stay】 2 hours
