Keibi Mountain Circular Trail Introduction
Next to the Kuebishan Geological Park, the Beiliao Kuebishan Tidal Viewing Area, constructed by the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration, features a seaside pedestrian walkway that stretches about 100 meters north, where you can find the signpost for the "Mountain Circumference Trail". By turning right and following the muddy path into a small forest, you'll encounter a fork in the trail; whether you go left or right, both paths lead to the cliffs below the military radar. At the summit, you can find abandoned military installations, bunkers, and trenches, as this area was also a military stronghold before the lifting of martial law. From the highest point of Kuebishan, visitors can enjoy the natural scenery and vast ocean views. On clear days, you can see distant islands like Jishanyu and Dinggouyu to the north; during low tide, you'll find the Chiouyu Dune Path to the right and Fanzaiwei to the left below. Between Kuebishan, Fanzaiwei, and Chiouyu, large intertidal zones and rock formations emerge during low tide, providing locals with opportunities to gather shellfish. 【Suggested Stay Duration】 2 hours
Entering the lush jungle leads to a platform with a magnificent sea view.
After the tide recedes, the large rocks at Banziwei are exposed.
