The first temple in the Penghu area dedicated to the worship of the "Jade Emperor" was established during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, making it over 300 years old. It has undergone four renovations, and was rebuilt in 2004 into a grand structure measuring 609.89 square meters, occupying an area of 184.48 ping, situated in a northwest-southeast orientation. It is the first courtyard-style temple building in Huxi Township.
