The first temple dedicated to the "Jade Emperor" in the Penghu area was built during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of over 300 years. It has undergone four renovations, and in 2004 (the 93rd year of the Republic of China), it was rebuilt covering an area of 609.89 square meters, with a total land area of 184.48 pings. This magnificent building is oriented northwest by southeast and is the first skylight-style temple architecture in Huxi Township.

The temple has undergone four reconstructions, and in 2004, it was rebuilt with an area of 609.89 square meters, covering a total land area of 184.48 ping. It features a grand architecture facing southeast from a northwest direction and is the first temple in Huxi Township designed in a courtyard style.
